    True but everyone is different when you look at Michael Jai White and Ray Park they both can do splits. Its genetics proper training and knowing your body. Also nutrion is key plus learning what you eat benefits your joints.

    Not everyone can do the splits, it will depend on your physical build. Asians have different shaped hips than white and black people.How do I know this, I had double hip surgury in 2007 and my doctor is writing a book on hips.I have done martial arts for 25 years and delt with pain the whole time till I finally could not deal with it any more.Unfortunately surgury did not cure everything.One key thing about stretching is muscle temp. Make sure you are warmed up first.Soo Bahk from region six.
