    I do Tae Kwon Do …
    I do Tae Kwon Do and karate, and both have taught me to turn my leg like that when I kick, so I don’t really think that there’s something wrong with how she’s teaching it.

    few mistakes dont hold on to anything because u need to learn to hold your balance, second dont put on weights around your feet because its not naturale better do it more times the natural way then to do it with weights and thirdly your upper body should be vertical to the floor when u raise your knees and when u kick u can only then bend your body like she does it to get more power and distance and dont kick with your foot kick whit your heel it will look like an adge of a sword

    Another way for beginners is just standing legs together, feet pointed outwards(called heisoku-dachi in karate). Extend your fists out toward the ground for balance. Lift your knee up(chamber), extend the leg to the side, bring back to chamber, put it down. Rinse and repeat. Karateka have been doing it that way for centuries.

    Why don’t you learn them how to stamp the floor, before lifting anything! Can’t even kick straight and when do you think of training balance if you hold onto something!!!

    Yes, fine for exercise but she shouldn’t be claiming her poor technique, power lacking, telegraphing so-so side kick is the right way to do it to new comers wanting to learn martial arts. She should be flagged and flogged!
