WAAAAAAY too many to count. There are countless traditional martial arts styles and then even more styles people made up, throw together and teach as martial arts and self defense it can make you cry. As long as there are people who want to learn what you are teaching you can teach. The burden is on the student to weed through the mess and find the right one. Not an easy task. It took me 15 years of trial and error, heartbreak and tears before I ended up in the right school and I have been there ever since and love it.

Yeah, agreed with the others. there is no way someone can give you a number on this. your best bet is to check out wikipedia and look up martial arts. try and find a list. your next option is to checkout youtube.com and check out some videos of the arts. I dont know if you are looking to get into something but what it comes down to is what are you looking for? what are you wanting to accomplish? Also realize that some arts will take years to master and training should be considered a lifelong process. But that is a personal choice.
