This book is massive! It covers my back story , and how I got in the martial arts, my struggles with health problems, commentaries on religion, racism, MMA, nutrition, injuries, and how martial arts relates to all of these things. If your a fan of martial arts, and you loved Bruce Lee’s books, or your a fan of the “Jeet Kune Do” mentality, I think you will enjoy this publication. If you replace “xing yi” with “your style”, its all just names, Anyone and everyone can benefit from this book. Even non-martial artists. There are many chapters that talk about how to live a more rewarding and spiritual life, it even goes so far as to say that all athletic sports teach some type of self-defense attribute.
