weight bearing exercises for martial arts

Please Read my movie maker was acting up so sorry for the editing. This is a video I wanted to put together to show the benefits of weight bearing exercises for martial arts. A lot of martial artists are opposed to weight bearing exercises and their belief is that it makes you slow. I have a different opinion and believe it gives you explosive power the ability to take more hits due to muscle density and in general more strength which will just enhance your techniques . This is just my personal opinion though. Keep working on cardio and flexibility exercises for an all encompassing workout. Disclaimer-This video is for entertainment purposes only . Some Basic Leg Stretches

Here are a few of the basic leg stretching exercises. You should spend about 15-20 mins stretching each day. I tried to do my video in half the time because of the 10 min time limit. There are more leg stretches I want to cover in future videos and I will post how to stretch all other parts of the body as well. For example, the Neck and Back, The Shoulder, Arms and Wrists, The sides of the ribs, hips and abdomen, and of course all the muscles and joints in the leg. Including thigh, calf, ankle, knee, inner and outer part of the leg, bottom, and lower back or tailbone.
