Life in a Day Submission – New Orleans Female MMA Fighters

http://milkandhoneymovie.com We have left our jobs and are currently traveling the world. On July 24th 2010, we happened to be in New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA). We went to a local gym and met two very interesting female Mixed Martial Arts fighters, Amanda Lauland and Ginger LeBlanc. We asked them to share their stories with us. They gave us insight into how Hurricane Katrina has affected the personality of NOLA and left behind a fighting spirit amongst the people. This is our submission for YouTube’s Life in a Day.

Brothers in Afghanistan training.. those of us that dontknow might see them as just people who just grab a gun and shoot…NO – they are intelligent, their ranks consist of many different professions, such as doctors – technicians – pharmacists – engineers – & ofcourse they have brothers who have learnt various types of fighting types as we see in the video…etc etc.
Their love for Allaah and their cocncern for their sisters/brothers/mothers brought them to the blessed land of Jihaad, to the front door of Jannah (Paradise)

ALLAAH (SWT) states in HIS uncreated word (Qur’aan) :

”O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers.
That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is AllSufficient for His creatures’ needs, AllKnower.” (SURA MAA’IDAH, CHAPTER 6, VERSE 54)
