this is a simple concept but not really pointed out in most self defense schools.go to any karate dojo and you can see black belts just standing there trading blows with each other.

  13. you ant got 2 miove …
you ant got 2 miove that much just a slight movement is better if a good fighter can see that you going to move

so move slightly then follow with a strong elbow

i done a tone of training useing boxing and a bit of mauy thai

what i would do is get a mate and spar with them this will help you with movement and being able to counter

    This isn’t smart. …
This isn’t smart. Firstly people don’t often adopt a fighting stance on the street, and they also dont lead with their left in real situations – trying to side step a big, overextended right hook would prob result in stepping into the punch more often than not. This movie is ironic as it’d only be useful if you were already well trained, or had very quick and precise judgement.

    The patterns in …
The patterns in martial arts are not designed to be remembered as patterns. The body develops muscle memory and the reaction happens on its own. You cant understand this concept unless you have been trained and put into a situation which calls upon ur training. Its been years since my training, and evertime its called upon, my body never skips a beat.

  22. a good fighter …
a good fighter anticipates that he may possibly miss and is pepared to move as well or is ready for your counter with his own counter move. when things are happening fast you have only seconds in a fight. People have their own instints when you fight, grapple, punch, elbow or just back off. Theirs a simple response for self defense…god gave you 2 legs…RUN… unless you have no choice….R

    It’s useful but …
It’s useful but like karate and all martial arts, you’re trained with patterns. While in a street fight there are no patterns, it’s usually random and haphazard making a lot of this useless.

Quite honestly despite it being considered a coward’s way, you’re better off running ‘less you’re a lot bigger or tougher.

  24. i think this vid is …
i think this vid is prttey ok but dude some people arnt quick learners they wont understand which way to move how fast to move and sum people are presured that closest to your a oponent the more people your moves are on point but the people that cant fight might think this is stpid because no won would think being numble to think instead of putting your hands out and swinging but this just my opinoin no won should take this personaly.
